About Us

Purse Power was established with the goal of making every woman feel dignified in her own skin. It’s easy to take basic sanitary items for granted, but no woman should have to wonder how she is going to get through her monthly period without embarrassment. It’s a simple plan: fill donated purses with feminine hygiene products (i.e tampons, pads, feminine wipes, hand sanitizer, deodorant, soap, shampoo, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc.), then gift these purses to women who may have difficulty accessing these items on their own. In order to make this happen, we ask for your help in three different ways: donating a new or gently used purse, donating any of the above mentioned items, or a monetary donation. We thank you in advance for your help in creating an environment where women supporting women is the norm. There truly is power in a purse!
